Coast to Coast AM

If you have never found yourself scanning the AM dial in the middle of the night, then you are probably unfamiliar with Coast to Coast AM, a talk radio show devoted to discussions of the paranormal, fringe science, and the down right weird. If you listen with an open mind, you discover amid the sometimes outlandish guests and phone calls from the occasional certified nut job, a radio show that provides a solid alternative to mainstream media and is also devilishly entertaining. Thrown in for good measure are actual greats in their various fields of study such as theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who is a frequent guest.

Coast to Coast AM is the creation of Art Bell, veteran talk show host and reluctant guru to those with a yen for strange happenings and unidentified flying objects. Bell himself is in semi-retirement and only hosts the four hour show on weekends. His skeptical and acerbic style is balanced by the affable George Noory, Bell's hand picked predecessor who helms the show Monday through Friday. Coast to Coast AM airs seven days a week from 1am to 5pm EST. It is carried by hundreds of radio stations nation wide, and a list of affiliates can be found on the website listed above.
